Where are my SketchUp files saved?
When using the SketchUp Pro desktop modeler, files are saved locally to your machine until you choose to sync your projects to the cloud with Trimble Connect. If you’re working in SketchUp for Web, we recommend storing your models in Trimble Connect until you want to export them to a locally stored file.

Can you draw in 2D in SketchUp free?
Another way to draw 2D in Sketchup is by using the “freehand” tool. Keep the rectangle plane and select the “freehand” tool. Make sure you are drawing on the face, and click and drag the mouse to create your shape. Keep in mind, this isn’t a perfect tool so you won’t end up with perfect geometry.
Why does my SketchUp model disappear when I zoom in?
Usually this means that you have some scattered unnecessary geometry (a single short edge is enough) lurking somewhere far from your actual model. It might also be a badly built component or group that has its origin far from the object itself, resulting in an enormous bounding box.
Can you export from SketchUp free?
